Formerly known as ‘Good Fight’, Juvita Pingiaro and Joel Wheeler have been writing songs and performing together for the past six years, creating their own unique blend of rock and soul music. Guesswork’s deeply personal songs carry a universal appeal in their honesty and willingness to expose the inner workings of their hearts and souls in lyric and melody.

Guesswork's drummer, Luke MearsGuesswork have played – and continue to play – in and around Melbourne, right down to the Mornington Peninsula – from Manchester Lane to the Crown Casino, to gigs at the Hallam Hotel, Chelsea Heights Hotek, the Peninsula Lounge, Bayside and the Sea Festival in Frankston and the hugely successful Between The Bays Festival in Moorooduc; from The Royal Hotel in Portsea and the Continental in Sorrento to the Bay Hotel and Social in Mornington. Juvita and Joel have also busked their way around the streets of Europe and had numerous gigs in the pubs of Ireland during their 2007 expedition overseas.

In 2009 drummer, Luke Mears joined them and Guesswork’s two track promo CD “Dublin Rain” quickly sold out. Guesswork Bassist Peter Jones Now in 2010, Guesswork have honed their sound into an edgier, rock based format with the addition of Peter Jones on bass.

Guesswork are back in the studio recording their forthcoming album “This One’s Out Of My Hands”. The sound is deeper, broader and gutsier and the new song lyrics are as passionate as ever, ranging from the heartbreakingly poignant “Sinking Sands” to the deep bite of “Handful”.
